Citrusaugļu maģiskā iedarbība

Citrusaugļi tiek iegūti no rūtu dzimtas kokiem un krūmiem; citrusaugļi ir apelsīni, citroni, laimi, greipfrūti, mandarīni un pomelo.

Tie ir labs barības vielu, īpaši C vitamīna, avots. Papildus C vitamīnam, kas ir visvērtīgākā barības viela, šie augļi satur arī B vitamīnus (tiamīnu, piridoksīnu, niacīnu, riboflavīnu, pantotēnskābi un folātu). Turklāt citrusaugļos ir daudz makroelementu: cukuri, uztura šķiedrvielas, kālijs, folāts, kalcijs, fosfors, magnijs, varš, riboflavīns un pantotēnskābe.

Citrusaugļi satur vairākus sekundāros metabolītus, piemēram, flavonoīdus, alkaloīdus, kumarīnus, limonoīdus, karotinoīdus, fenolskābes un ēteriskās eļļas. Šīm bioķīmiskajām vielām ir būtiska loma cilvēka veselībā, un tām ir svarīga darbība cilvēka organismā, ieskaitot antioksidatīvu, pretiekaisuma, pretvēža, kā arī sirds un asinsvadu sistēmas aizsargājošu iedarbību. Pēdējo 50 gadu laikā ir plaši ziņots par flavonoīdu bioaktivitātes pētījumiem.

Citrusaugļi tiek izmantoti kā tradicionālajā, tā mūsdienu medicīnā un uzturā kā ļoti svarīgu bioķīmisko vielu avots, kas veicina cilvēka veselību, īpaši sirds un asinsvadu veselību, ar spēcīgu antioksidatīvo ietekmi, asinsvadus aizsargājošu un asinsvadu funkciju uzlabojošu iedarbību.
